Simon Waldram
I am a singer-songwriter from Nottinghamshire in the UK.My first album Conchology (2009) focused on indie pop, as influenced by bands like the Fat Tulips and the Field Mice.
It was released the same month as a split tape with My Cell Phone Is Better Than Your Cell Phone on Canadian label Scotch Tapes, which had a much darker, experimental sound.
Typical song subjects including love, depression, addiction, regret and nostalgia.
"This is what Lou Barlow or Bill Callahan would have sounded like if they'd been signed by Sarah Records" - Greg Fox.
Location
Mansfield, Nottinghamshire - England.
