Russ Payne and the Shark Dentists are a hard-gigging blues/rock power trio based in Oxfordshire and playing gigs all over southern england and the midlands. Their influences range from BB King and Freddie King to Joe Bonamassa and Tom Waits via Peter Green, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Guitarist and singer Russ Payne is one of the most exciting performers on the UK circuit, playing alongside ‘Mez’ Smeathers (bass) and Nigel Summerley (drums, blues harp).
